Network And Computer Support Engineer $80K plus
The candidate must have knowledge and the ability to disassemble a physical LAN and move to a new location. Understanding NAS and SAN operations is also a definite plus along with server virtualization within SAN and NAS integration levels. Prior phone system knowledge is a definite requirement PRI, DID and analog ports including integration of Cisco Unified Call Manager with Cisco Unity voice mail integration with Microsoft Exchange. With the integration of Exchange 2010 the candidate should have prior knowledge of Exchange topology DAG, CAS, Hub Transport, active sync etc. The entire Exchange environment is integrated with BES which would include troubleshooting and setup with Blackberry devices. On the WAN side the candidate should have knowledge of IP protocol, various types of circuits, e.g., Frame Relay, MPLS, PtoP and Ethernet handoff. VPN knowledge should include Cisco VPN and Netmotion exposure. Desktop support required including the installation of work stations and printers in Microsoft Print Queue environment. Knowledge of Citrix environment technology along with iPad access to PC environment. 50% to 75% of traveling (driving and air travel) to other offices with overnight stays. Must be able to work weekends and after hours for installs and upgrades. 5-7 years in an office technology integration environment. Windows Servers Knowledge: 2003, 2008 Std, 2008 R2, Exchange, SQL, IIS concepts, Active Directory Concepts and Group Policy Concepts (GPO). Windows OS Knowledge; desktop and user support: XP and Win 7. Wireless cell phone protocols Knowledge: BES and Active Sync. Office 2010: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project. Citrix Knowledge: Presentation Server, Xendesktop, Xenapp and CAG (Citrix Access Gateway). Cisco Call Manager Knowledge and Cisco Unity Knowledge. VMWare Knowledge: Virtual OS, Guest OS, HA and VMotion. Netapps Knowledge: SnapMirror, FlexClones, Snapshots and RAID levels and integration. Network Topology Knowledge: WAN; MPLS, T-1s and DS3 and Ethernet handoff. Cisco RouterKnowledge: 2800, 2900 and 3800 series. Cisco Switches Knowledge: 6509, 3850, 3750X series. ASA Knowledge: Cisco VPN and Cisco Firewall.
